The KSOF Challenge – JUNIOR (BY AUDITION & INVITATION ONLY!)
An advanced and challenging program for teens 13 + that enables students to create a clothing collection to present before a judge for the DESIGNER OF THE YEAR Award. The individual pieces will be showcased at the next Annual Fashion Show in May. 8 week sessions consist of challenges in which students will be given a specific category which they will design and make within 16 weeks. These are the challenges Red Carpet, Streetwear, Lounge -Wear and Suiting.
*NOTE: This program is ONLY open to those who have experience in pattern making, sewing and draping. Apply ONLY if you are ready for the NEXT CHALLENGE. This class is open by AUDITION ONLY! Audition time will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.
Each 8 week session is sold SEPARATELY!
During the Yearly program (September – June), students will learn advanced levels of draping, pattern making, design concepts, branding, marketing, and couture sewing techniques. They will also learn craftsmanship and eye catching presentations!

*PLEASE NOTE: Students MUST have their own sewing machines, bobbins, threads, silk pins (1 1/4”), pin cushion, Apple computer, own gmail account (on their computer) and Adobe Photoshop account for first 8 weeks.
