New to sewing? Every new student will need to include our Jump Start class in their application — a friendly introduction to the studio, the machines, and the basics, so everyone starts their first course confident and ready.

Your instructor
Learn from someone who’s lived it
Karen E. Lozner graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, majoring in Fashion Design and Production Management. She spent years in New York’s Garment Center working for brands including DKNY, and her Karen E Couture line is carried in Paris. Now she teaches the real fashion process — the way it’s actually done — to students in New Jersey.
